Triangle Pose

This back and core strengthener can help improve your balance and shift your energy level upward. Step your feet about 4 feet apart. Turn your left leg 90 degrees and pivot your right foot slightly inward. Extend both arms so they are parallel to the floor. Shift your hips back as you stretch your left hand forward. Lean forward and let your left hand rest on either your shin or a block, while reaching your right hand up. Hold for five breaths and switch sides.

Reverse Plank

Sit on the floor with your legs extended in front of you and your hands slightly behind your hips. Press down through your palms and lift your hips toward the ceiling as you extend your toes toward the floor. Release your head gently back to ease tension in your neck. Take three deep breaths. This empowering yet grounding move helps to stretch open and awaken the front side of your body.
