  • zest of 1 orange
  • 1 cup fresh, d-fortified orange juice
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 6 ice cubes

  1. In a blender, combine the kefir, orange zest, orange juice, honey, lime juice, vanilla, and ice cubes and puree until thick and smooth. Pair with a piece of fruit, a cheese stick, a hard-cooked egg, or toast with 1 tablespoon of peanut butter for a full meal. Drink only half a serving for a snack.
