Plants shouldn’t be a lot of work—at least that's my philosophy. As the author of Plants You Can’t Kill, I’m a big fan of low-maintenance, especially when it comes to indoor greenery.
Sure, those orchids and azaleas look pretty, at least when you first bring them home. But unless you're diligent about caring for them, you're likely to feel pretty bummed when they wither away in a matter of months (or even weeks).
