We accept pitches for print and/or online articles that address some aspect of the magazine’s focus on living naturally in the modern world. Pitches for the front-of-book Gather section, the Food, Home, Garden, or Wellbeing sections, feature articles, or the back-of-book Almanac section should be succinct yet detailed. You should familiarize yourself thoroughly with the magazine before pitching so that you can suggest how the article might appear in the magazine and at what length it might run. If you have visuals associated with the subject, such as snapshots, include those in your pitch in order to give the editors a clearer understanding of the story. Tell us why you are the person to write this article, and include links, if any, to prior publications of yours. Also, please understand that editors are busy; it may take a while for us to get back to you.
