Pierogies with Sauteed Green Cabbage and Onions

This simple and delicious pierogi recipe will have you coming back for seconds.

  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 2 sliced onions
  • 1 pound chopped cabbage
  • 2 teaspoons caraway seeds
  • 1 tablespoon cider vinegar
  • mini pierogies




1. Place the oil in a nonstick skillet. Add the onions and cook over medium-high heat, stirring, until golden brown, 10 minutes.

2. Add the cabbage and caraway seeds. Cook over medium heat, stirring, until tender, 15 minutes.

3. Toss with the vinegar. Serve with mini pierogies.
