- Large chunk of hard or semi-soft cheese
- 1-to-2-inch block of honeycomb or liquid honey
- Baguette slices
- Apple slices
- Pear slices (optional)
Place the wedge of cheese on a platter next to the honey. Surround the cheese and honey with crackers, bread, apples, and pears.
*Solve the problem of sticky fingers by having a small bowl of warm water with napkins on the table. Suggested cheeses: blue cheese, such as Stilton or Gorgonzola; Monterey Jack; Manchego; or sharp Cheddar.
