Corn and Basil Sauté

  • 3 1/2 cups fresh corn kernels
  • 1/3 cup chopped shallots
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil leaves

1. Cook 3 1/2 cups fresh corn kernels and 1/3 cup chopped shallots in 1 Tbsp butter in large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat, 2 minutes. Add 1 tsp minced garlic and cook 1 minute longer.


2. Transfer to serving bowl and stir in 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil leaves. Season to taste. (Makes 3 1/2 cups.)
